If you watched the Cup race on Saturday evening, you might have been expecting at least one weather delay, but all precipitation stayed away. You also may have had the idea it would be another Harvick vs. Hamlin duel, but it wasn’t. Jimmie Johnson didn’t make the playoffs, breaking the hearts of No. 48 fans everywhere. Some expectations were met, as we did get the speedway wrecks they call the ‘Big Ones’, there were disappointed drivers, and overheated engines from pesky pieces of plastic stuck on the front of the colorful cars. Of course, there were also commercials. For those who like to know precisely how many there were, and how much time they took during the broadcast, here is this week’s breakdown.
