Stefan Parsons and BJ McLeod Motorsports (BJMM) announced today a three-race primary sponsorship on Parsons’ Toyota Supra with Springrates. Springrates will serve as a primary sponsor at Bristol Motor Speedway (Sept. 18), Texas Motor Speedway (Oct. 24) and Martinsville Speedway (Oct. 31). Phoenix Construction will also be on board for all three races as an associate sponsor.
Although this will be the performance suspension company’s debut in the NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS), Springrates is no stranger to NASCAR and Parsons. Earlier this year, the organization served as the primary sponsor for Parsons in the NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series event at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, where he drove into the top 15 before finishing in 29th position due to motor related issues.
Sean Taylor, founder and CEO of Springrates immediately saw Parsons potential as he works to carry on his family legacy in NASCAR.
“We are thrilled to join the NASCAR Xfinity Series and partner with Stefan Parsons and BJ McLeod Motorsports,” said Taylor. “I quickly noticed Parsons talent when he drove for us earlier this year in the NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series. He has such a bright future ahead of him and we want to be a part of the ride…literally!”
“I can’t thank Sean and BJ enough to be able to add three more races to my 2020 NASCAR Xfinity Series schedule,” Parsons said. “The BJMM team has had some solid runs lately, and I look forward to building on that momentum this weekend!”
Joining Springrates on board the No. 78 this weekend at Bristol Motor Speedway as an associate sponsor will be Phoenix Construction, founded in 1983 and offering general contracting services specializing in industrial construction of airports, roads, bridges and wastewater treatment centers.
In six starts, Parsons has an average start of 26.7 and an average finish of 24.5. His best finish of the 2020 season came in June at Texas Motor Speedway, where he finished in the 18th position
