FOX Sports reporter Bob Pockrass reports that North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper’s allowance on 7% stadium capacity beginning October 2, means that the Charlotte Motor Speedway ROVAL race weekend may see up to 6,000 people.
NC Gov Roy Cooper said, w/the caveat that the numbers continue to look good, that the plan is for effective Oct 2 that outdoor stadiums with capacity of more than 10,000 could have 7% of capacity. That would mean potential for around 5,500-6,000 people at Charlotte. #nascar

We’re quickly processing the latest info regarding limited fan capacity from Gov. Cooper. We will have some direction soon for fans who’ve purchased tickets to the Bank of America ROVAL 400 & accompanying events on our NASCAR Playoff weekend. #BofAROVAL | #AmericasHomeForRacing pic.twitter.com/gyGey69CSD
