Breast Cancer Awareness comes to the forefront this weekend as Josh Bilicki, Rich Mar Florist, and Lemons of Love team up at the Charlotte Motor Speedway Roval.  Bilicki will drive the #51 Ford Mustang for Rick Ware Racing in Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series race, sporting a black and pink paint scheme in an effort to bring awareness to breast cancer awareness and his partner Lemons of Love.

Lemons of Love, a 501c3 nonprofit organization, was created in 2014 when founder Jill Swanson Peltier was diagnosed with stage III colon cancer. As she began chemotherapy, a friend gave Jill a small goodie bag filled with items to help her through treatment. Touched by the kindness and thoughtfulness of this gift, she knew this was something every cancer patient should receive. Jill envisioned giving others the same kind of love and support with a simple gift that makes a big impact. Today, Lemons of Love shares chemo care packages with cancer patients around the world and provides programming at its Lemons of Love Cancer Resource Center in Mt. Prospect, Illinois.

“Lemons of Love is an organization that I’ve been fortunate enough to work with for the past five plus years,” says Bilicki.  “Jill Swanson Peltier, the founder, has been very active in the racing community, and she always goes above and beyond to take care of individuals who are going through this heart breaking illness.  Being that it’s breast cancer awareness month, this is the very least we can do to give back to Jill and raise awareness for her wonderful organization.”

“It is an honor and a pleasure to work with Josh Bilicki,” says Jill Swanson Peltier, founder of Lemons of Love.  “Josh brings excellence to racing as well as professionalism. We are thrilled to have him as an ambassador for Lemons of Love.  We look forward to sharing the love with the NASCAR community.  We wish Josh the best this weekend.”

Rich Mar Florist will be featured on the hood of Bilicki’s #51 Ford Mustang, serving as the co-primary sponsor.  Rich Mar Florist has been the Lehigh Valley’s local florist since 1955. From small beginnings the company has grown to provide floral arrangements at events large and small. Serving and sponsoring the NASCAR world, Rich Mar Florist is now proud track partners with Pocono Raceway and Dover Speedway. Their presence continues to grow in the sport as this weekend will mark their fourth primary of this season.

“Josh and I have worked on small sponsorships these past two seasons, I am honored to finally have a primary sponsorship with him,” said Jonathan Morrissey, vice president, Rich Mar Florist.  “Cancer awareness is near and dear to our family, so I want to thank Josh and Rick Ware Racing for embracing it.  Josh is a great road course driver and I am very excited to see the results this weekend.”

Additional partners for the race weekend will be The Builders Outlet Super Store (BOSS), Custom Fiberglass Molding, Insurance King, and Fort Worth Screen Printing.

The Bank of America Roval 400 NASCAR Cup Series race will take place on Sunday, October 11th at 2:30PM ET.  It will be televised on NBC.
