ORIGINAL POST: Due to a previous commitment to compete in the Short Track Super Series “Speed Showcase ” 200 at Port Royal Speedway, Stewart Friesen will miss the Gander RV& Outdoors Truck Series race at Kansas.
The team announced that Christopher Bell will substitute for him. However, NASCAR rules would seem to prevent that since Cup drivers are not allowed to drive in Truck Series playoff races.
The Kansas Truck race was originally scheduled for Friday, October 16, but was recently moved to Saturday, October 17.
