Martin Truex, Jr. and his girlfriend Sherry Pollex have been named the recipients of the fourth quarter National Motorsports Press Association’s Pocono Spirit Award.
The NMPA Pocono Spirit Award is designed to recognize character and achievement in the face of adversity, sportsmanship and contributions to motorsports. Each year, quarterly winners are selected, and an overall winner is selected by a vote of the NMPA membership.
Truex and Pollex were awarded for the establishment of the Sherry Strong Integrative Medicine Oncology Clinic.
