UPDATE: Bob Pockrass reports pit stall selections for the Xfinity Series have actually been based on the previous race’s finishing order all season.
Clarification: NASCAR Xfinity Series has used previous race finishing order to pick pits this year as it had normally done last few years, but its rule book had not been updated with the change until yesterday (so I thought it had used starting order first few races this year). https://t.co/uxEAfl64Ea

Per Fox Sports’ Bob Pockrass, the Xfinity Series will go back to picking pit stall selections by how the teams finish the week prior and not by the starting lineup formula.
Xfinity Series is going back to picking pits by previous race finishing position (and not by starting lineup formula). That was the way Xfinity Series had done pit selection in previous years before pandemic.
