After debuting with Kaulig Racing in the Daytona 500, Hyperice will return to the team, this time sponsoring AJ Allmendinger in Friday night’s (April 9) NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Martinsville Speedway.
Allmendinger enters the race with an opportunity at an additional $100,000 in part of Xfinity’s Dash 4 Cash program. The No. 16 Chevrolet will have to beat out Noah Gragson, Justin Allgaier and defending winner at the track, Harrison Burton.
Last fall, Allmendinger led 68 laps at Martinsville, prior to cutting down a tire and having to pit. The No. 16 car finished 26th. In 21 Cup Series starts at the famed paperclip, the California native has seven top-10 efforts.
