Shane Wilson Returning to Crew Chief Ryan Sieg

Beginning this weekend at Darlington Raceway, Ryan Sieg will have a familiar voice in his ear, Shane Wilson.

Wilson has taken back over as crew chief of the No. 39 Ford. Previously, the longtime crew chief worked with RSS Racing in 2019, guiding Sieg to a pair of top-five and 12 top-10 finishes. That year, Sieg finished 11th in points.

Through eight Xfinity races this season, Sieg sits a disappointing 17th in the championship standings, 60 points below the cutline with an average finish of 22.4.

Last September, Sieg finished third at Darlington.
