Ty Dillon Aiming for More Races with Gaunt Brothers Racing

Despite missing this year’s Daytona 500, Ty Dillon has competed in four NASCAR Cup Series races this season for Gaunt Brothers Racing.

When talking to reporters earlier this week, Dillon stated he’s looking at potentially doing a few more Cup races with Gaunt Brothers Racing over the final 16 events of the season.

“Marty [Gaunt] and I have been working hard to make sure we get to some more races,” Dillon said. “Some races that we’re targeting are [the] Indy road course, Talladega and maybe Daytona. Kind of depending on how sponsorship comes together. We were able to pull Road America together last minute.”

Dillon is hoping to run more Xfinity Series races this season as well, having already ran five of them between Joe Gibbs Racing and Our Motorsports. He will pilot the No. 23 Xfinity car this weekend for Our, sponsored by Childress Vineyards.
