According to Bob Pockrass, Michael Annett is expected to drive the No. 1 Chevrolet in Saturday’s Drive for the Cure 250 Xfinity Series race.
JR Motorsports had Josh Berry listed on the entry list because it would help with starting position. Annett will start at the rear of the field for the driver chance, and Berry will be on standby if he’s needed for the race.
Annett’s last race was at Richmond Raceway four weeks ago, finishing 22nd.
Expecting Michael Annett to race the JRM No. 1 car today. The team had Berry on the entry list because that helps the starting position if he drove the car but Annett status is week-to-week. Annett would drop to rear for start for driver change. Berry will be here if needed.
