Leading up to the Xfinity Series race at Texas Motor Speedway in June, Brandon Brown had a used car salesman tweet go viral, attempting to get sponsorship.
Brown returns to the track this weekend with primary sponsorship from DF Kit Car. The No. 68 will also have DentalQore, American PetroLog and @tradethechain aboard as associate partners.
“I’m really looking forward to be heading back to Texas Motor Speedway this weekend. We had some great runs at Texas during the 2020 season with a Top-10 finish during the spring race and then we backed it up with a Top-5 in the fall. We also earned a respectable 13th-place finish this past June, so hopefully we can keep the positive Texas trend rolling.
“In the spring, we ran our “For Sale” paint scheme, which served its purpose, but I’m happy to announce that we’ll be retiring that scheme as we have a brand new partner joining us on Saturday.
“I’m proud to welcome DFKitCar.com on board our No. 68 Chevrolet Camaro for their first-ever NASCAR Xfinity Series race. I think they’re just as excited as we are and I can’t wait to introduce them to all of our awesome fans.
“DFKitCar.com offers a very unique, home-built street car called The Goblin. It’s the perfect combination between a conventional car and a fabricated kit that comes with pre-packed and labeled hardware bags, which makes it easy to assemble. All you need is a donor Chevrolet Cobalt motor and a few odds and ends to complete the build. What helps even more is that DFKitCar.com also has an online forum, full of helpful Goblin owners who are there to help answer questions, fast.
“I’m also excited to welcome DentalQore to our team for their first race as a major associate partner this Saturday. DentalQore is located in Utah and serves dental practices throughout the United States by offering a broad spectrum of digital marketing and software services, all under one roof.
“Lastly, I’m proud to welcome back American PetroLog and TradeTheChain.com as returning partners to our No. 68 Chevy this weekend. It’s great to see so much support around our program and I can’t thank each of our partners enough for their contribution.
“Texas is such a fun track to drive and even though we aren’t in the playoffs this year, we still have a lot to race for. We want to finish as high as we can in the point standings, which means it’s all about not beating ourselves: executing our strategies perfectly, not taking unnecessary chances and enjoying the ride. It was awesome to take our No. 68 to Victory Lane once this season and I’m hoping that we can do it again on Saturday.”
