Thomas’ English Muffins Partners with JTG Daugherty Racing’s No. 37 NASCAR Cup Series Team at Martinsville Speedway

JTG Daugherty Racing announced today that Thomas’ English Muffins will return to sponsor Ryan Preece’s No. 37 Camaro ZL1 1LE at Martinsville Speedway on Sunday, October 31st for the Xfinity 500.

“We’re thrilled to once again partner with JTG Daugherty Racing to cheer on the No. 37 Thomas’ Camaro ZL1 1LE and bring the Nooks & Crannies goodness of Thomas’ to Martinsville Speedway,” said Eduardo Zarate, Senior Director of Marketing for Thomas’. “We know that many Thomas’ fans enthusiastically follow the NASCAR Cup Series so getting to share in the excitement as our brand races alongside Ryan is a special partnership that we’re honored to be a part of. ”

This is the fourth primary race with Ryan Preece for the #1 selling English Muffin brand that has proudly been a staple at American breakfast tables for more than 140 years. Prior to this weekend’s race at “The Paperclip”, Thomas’ sponsored the No. 37 car at Dover International Speedway and both Pocono Raceway events.

“We’re looking forward to carrying Thomas’ English Muffins on our No. 37 Camaro at Martinsville Speedway this Sunday,” Preece said. “It’s been an honor to represent Bimbo Bakeries USA and their family of brands this season in the NASCAR Cup Series. They do an outstanding job activating their racing partnership with JTG Daugherty Racing to reach the most brand loyal fan bases in all of sports.”

Preece’s best Martinsville finish is 16th and JTG Daugherty Racing’s is second-place. Preece and his team feel good about their chances heading into the next to the last race of the season with the iconic American brand, and they are ready to go the distance in the 500-lap event (Stages 130/260/500 Laps = 263 Miles).

“Track position is huge at Martinsville because it’s not always easy to pass there,” Preece said. “Trent Owens (crew chief) and the team will put together a strong short track package for this race. We’ll be focused on quickly gaining as much track position as we can, and we will be sure to really take care of our equipment at the same time.”

Live coverage of the Xfinity 500 from Martinsville Speedway on Sunday begins at 2 PM ET on NBC, MRN Radio and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio (Ch. 90).
