Carl Long, David Starr & Other MBM Motorsports Team Members Contracted COVID-19 Following Phoenix

On Saturday morning (Nov. 13), Carl Long revealed on SiriusXM NASCAR Radio that he, David Starr and other members of MBM Motorsports contracted COVID-19 following last weekend’s races at Phoenix Raceway.

A total of nine MBM Motorsports employees tested positive for COVID-19.

“We did finish the race out at Phoenix, but myself and eight of my team members contracted COVID on the way back,” Long said on SiriusXM NASCAR Radio. “It seems me and David Starr are the ones that are suffering the most. I’m not as bad as I was, but this is a rough disease.”
