Brett Moffitt Stepping in for Austin Wayne Self at Knoxville

AM Racing announced Brett Moffitt will drive the team’s No. 22 truck this weekend at Knoxville Raceway.

In a statement, the team noted that Austin Wayne Self has elected to temporarily step back from driving duties after his wife, Jennifer, gave birth to their daughter Zepplyn last week.

Self is scheduled to return to the No. 22 truck no later than than Mid-Ohio on July 9, meaning it’s possibly he misses Nashville next week. The team will not request a driver championship waiver from NASCAR.
