Akinori Ogata announced on Twitter that he will compete in two Xfinity Series races this season for MBM Motorsports.
Ogata will drive the No. 13 car at New Hampshire Motor Speedway on July 16 and Texas Motor Speedway on September 24.
In three career Xfinity starts, Ogata has a best finish of 26th, last fall at Martinsville Speedway.
