Matt Mills to Miss Kansas Xfinity Race Due to Flu

Matt Mills shared on Twitter that he won’t be able to compete in Saturday’s Kansas Lottery 300 Xfinity Series race at Kansas Speedway due to having the flu.

Originally, Mills was slated to drive the No. 5 Chevrolet for BJ McLeod Motorsports. Garrett Smithley will compete in place of Mills.

Mills tested negative for COVID-19 and expects to make a full recovery to be ready for the Xfinity Series race at Bristol on Friday, Sept. 16.
