Scott Zipadelli leaving crew chief role at Hattori Racing Enterprises

Crew chief Scott Zipadelli posted on social media on Monday that he is departing the role he’s held at Hattori Racing Enterprises after six seasons.  The team has not announced its 2023 plans, beyond driver Chase Purdy departing at the end of the 2022 season. A replacement driver has not yet been announced.

Zipadelli spent the ’22 season calling the shots for Tyler Ankrum. He visited victory lane multiple times with Austin Hill and earned the 2018 championship with Brett Moffitt.
