Stewart-Haas Racing announced that Riley Herbst will return to the No. 98 Ford for a third Xfinity Series season with the team in 2023.
Herbst is coming off his best Xfinity season to date, recording a career-high nine top-five and 20 top-10 finishes in 2022. His average finish of 13th is three positions better than his previous best average finish.
After getting eliminated in the Round of 12, Herbst finished the season 10th in the championship standings.
