Tyler Reddick’s team changing engines; won’t practice or qualify at Las Vegas

Jamie Little of Fox Sports reports that Tyler Reddick’s No. 45 team found an issue on his Toyota when they fired the engine on Saturday morning.

The No. 45 team will change the engine, and won’t be able to get it done in time to make laps in practice or qualifying. Reddick will start at the rear in Sunday’s Pennzoil 400.

Reddick has had a troubling start to the season, with two DNFs in his first two starts for 23XI Racing. Currently, he sits 38th and last in points.
