“Johnny Sauter, former NASCAR Truck Series Champion, will be driving the Roper Racing #04 Carquest Ford F-150,” the team said in a statement on social media on Wednesday night.
Kaden Honeycutt had announced in January that his deal with Roper was for the first six races.
Through the five races he’d run for the team, he tallied one top-10.
“As people can see now I will no longer be driving in the 04. It was fun while it lasted,” he said.
