Spire Motorsports withdraws from Xfinity race at Dover

With the threat of inclement weather at Dover Motor Speedway and a possibility of qualifying getting canceled on Friday, Spire Motorsports has withdrawn its No. 77 Chevrolet from the Xfinity Series field.

Dover was set to be the first of six races for Carson Hocevar driving the No. 77 car. The team’s debut in the series has been pushed back two weeks until Darlington Raceway.
