Greg Zipadelli, chief competition officer at Stewart-Haas Racing, will call the shots for Cole Custer this weekend in the inaugural Xfinity Series race at Sonoma Raceway.
Jonathan Toney, regular crew chief of the No. 00 car, didn’t go to Sonoma this week as he’s feeling under the weather, according to Bob Pockrass of Fox Sports.
The No. 00 team won its first race of the season last weekend at Portland International Raceway. It was the first road course victory for Custer.
