Chris Hacker arrested for DWI

Chris Hacker, a part-time driver in the NASCAR Xfinity Series and NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series was arrested on Tuesday, August 15th at approximately 12:30 AM ET by the Huntersville Police Department.

According to public records, Hacker was charged with Driving While Impaired. The North Carolina Judicial Branch’s official website shows that Hacker has a court date scheduled for September 19th. According to the NCJB, in addition to the Driving While Impaired charge, Hacker also faces charges of Speeding, Reckless Driving to Endanger, and Failure to Wear Seat Belt.

The 23-year-old racer has made six starts combined between the NASCAR Xfinity Series and NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series so far this season with a best finish of 12th coming in the Truck Series event at North Wilkesboro Speedway back in May.
