Crew chief Joe Shear ejected, tire confiscated from ThorSport team: UPDATE Milwaukee penalties announced

UPDATE: Crew chief Joe Shear has been fined $25,000 and suspended from the next four NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series championship points events, through Homestead.
Team and driver have been assessed with the loss of 75 points and 5 NASCAR Playoff points.

Kyle Busch Motorsports #51 team and driver have lost 10 points for triangular filler panels.

#41 crew chief Mike Hillman and #42 crew chief Phil Gould have been fined $2,500. for lug nut violations.

On a behavioral penalty, Aaron Volf has been suspended from NASCAR indefinitely.

Original post: The No. 98 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series team of Ty Majeski was penalized before Sunday’s Clean Harbors 175 at the Milwaukee Mile Speedway. NASCAR officials confiscated a right-rear tire in pre-race inspection, a tire that will not be replaced.

Crew chief Joe Shear was ejected and the team will have to start from the rear of the field and do a pass-through penalty. A NASCAR spokesperson said any additional penalties would come later in the week.

Majeski, who drives for ThorSport Racing, won the playoff opener on Aug. 11 at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park and is ranked first in the playoff standings.
