No more races for Jimmie Johnson this season

Jimmie Johnson says he will not run any more races this year.  He was initially expected to run 5-7 races.

He competed in the Daytona 500 as well at COTA and the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte earlier in the season with a best finish of 31st at Daytona.

He plans a limited schedule next season as Legacy Motor Club switches to Toyota with Erik Jones and John Hunter Nemechek.
