Taylor Gray to tackle first full Truck Series season in 2024

TRICON Garage (TRICON) announced today that Taylor Gray will return as the driver of the No. 17 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series (NCTS) in 2024.

Gray, in his first season as a Toyota Development Driver, started to see a rise in performance as his rookie season concluded with three top-fives and six top-10s including a career-best second-place finish at Kansas Speedway on September 8.

It will be Gray’s first complete NCTS season as he joined the series full-time upon turning 18 years of age back in March of this year. After competing in 20 of the 23 scheduled races, the No. 17 ended the season 15th in the point standings.

“The opportunity to continue to grow with TRICON and Toyota is not one that I take for granted,” said Gray. “I am excited to tackle my first complete Truck season and continue developing into a weekly contender. I am ready to hit the ground running and am prepared to win races in 2024.”

The 2024 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series season will kick off at Daytona (Fla.) Int’l Speedway on Friday, February 16. The race will be televised live on FOX Sports 1 with radio coverage provided by the Motor Racing Network and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
