First Bank of Alabama will return to JR Motorsports in 2024 to sponsor Sam Mayer in both Xfinity Series events at Talladega Superspeedway, the team announced on Tuesday.
Mayer was first sponsored by First Bank of Alabama last spring at Talladega, wrecking out on lap 100. In four starts at the 2.66-mile oval, Mayer has a trio of DNFs, though finished runner-up to AJ Allmendinger in the fall of 2022.
