Reaume Brothers Racing is excited to welcome New England Late Model standout Tyler Tomassi to the No. 22 Ford F-150. The Greenwich, Rhode Island native began his career on the short tracks of the Northeast, competing in Late Models against the best the Northeast can offer at just 15 years old. Tomassi hit the ground running, earning the title of Rookie of the Year at New Waterford Speedbowl in 2020, as well as finishing 3rd in the overall points championship. With a full time late model season ongoing in 2024, Tyler Tomassi is already in the top-10 in points, as well as gaining a playoff berth at his home track of Seekonk Speedway.
Debuting in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series is a dream come true for Tomassi, and he believes that the skills gained on the short tracks of the Northeast will only benefit him as he takes to the track in Indianapolis. “Getting the opportunity to work with Reaume Brothers Racing is an experience of a lifetime. Racing in the (NASCAR Craftsman) Truck Series has been a lifelong dream of mine. I believe that IRP will suit my driving style well, and I can use the skills I’ve gained from the short tracks in the Northeast to make a phenomenal debut. Having my name broadcasted nationally has been a goal of mine since I started racing as a kid, and I will finally be able to achieve that thanks to RBR.”
Josh Reaume, owner of Reaume Brothers Racing, appreciates the opportunity to bring young talent in for their debut appearance in NASCAR. “Coming from humble beginnings, I’ve always believed that a debut in NASCAR is something special, not just to the driver, but to their family and partners as well. Tyler is not just a good driver, but is a great person, and I have enjoyed getting to know his family throughout the weeks we have talked leading up to this race. I think that Tyler’s short track skills will shine brightly at Lucas Oil Raceway, and I am honored to bring more young talent into this sport.”
Watch Tyler Tomassi in the TSport 200 from Lucas Oil Raceway, Friday July 19th at 8:30 PM EST on FS1.
