Three lug nut penalties issues after Indianapolis

NASCAR has issued three lug nut penalties following the race weekend at Indianapolis Motor Speedway and Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Raceway.

In the Xfinity Series:

No. 21-Austin Hill
Safety Sections 8.8.10.4a: Tires and Wheels
Note: Lug nut(s) not properly installed.
Crew chief (Andy Street) has been fined $5,000.

In the Truck Series:

07/19/2024 (post-race inspection)
No. 43-Daniel Dye
Safety Sections 8.8.10.4a: Tires and Wheels
Note: Lug nut(s) not properly installed.
Crew chief (Blake Bainbridge) has been fined $2,500.
