Atlanta at-track experience packed with entertainment

Fans who have attended a NASCAR weekend at Atlanta Motor Speedway know two things: the action on the track will be unbelievable, and the fun doesn’t just happen between the green and checkered flags.

Atlanta NASCAR weekends are always packed full of entertainment happening all around the speedway, and the Sept. 7-8 Quaker State 400 Available at Walmart weekend is no exception. Here’s a just a small sampling of what fans at the track will enjoy as part of their race weekend experience:

Bennett 50th Anniversary Celebration

As the Bennett Family of Companies – a transportation and logistics provider local to Henry County – celebrates 50 years of business and Driver Appreciation Week, fans will have the opportunity to interact with many fun and unique activations in the AMS Fan Zone and the Bennett Lot located outside of the Main Ticket Office from Friday, Sept. 6, to Sunday, Sept. 8.

In the Bennett Lot, a Big Rig Show N’ Shine will invite fans to get up close and personal with some of the most unique tractor trailers. The Show N’ Shine will open to the public  Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. All who participate in voting on Bennett’s biggest and best rigs will receive a free gift!

Over in the AMS Fan Zone, Bennett will have a booth with awesome giveaways, the Austin Hill #21 Bennett truck and a beautiful toter on display. On Saturday during NASCAR Xfinity Series Qualifying, Bennett’s very own Tony Justice will be performing a live concert for all race fans in the fan zone to enjoy.

Party in the Peach Pit

When the checkered flag drops on Saturday’s Focused Health 250, the fun is just getting started. As the sun goes down, the infield party will come to life in the Peach Pit with games, mechanical bulls, laser light shows, and a live concert by Foo Fighters tribute cover band “Fooz Fighters”.

Fans at the track Saturday night can get to the Peach Pit for no additional charge and enjoy fan-favorite party atmosphere capped off with fireworks at the end of the night.

AMS Fan Zone

The Fan Zone is the place to be for free entertainment, activities, and special guest appearances. The epicenter this September will be the Speedway Experience Powered by EchoPark Automotive, home to live entertainment, music, prizes, games and more all weekend long – including the can’t-miss Trackside Live, featuring appearances by racing’s biggest stars.

Outside the Speedway Experience, fans will enjoy free shows by Timberworks, the Red Trouser Guys, and Canine Stars; free activities like American Axes ax throwing and racing simulators; and free adrenaline rushes on carnival rides “Sizzler” and “Tornado”.

All of this is just scratching the surface of everything fans can see and do during race weekend.
