With NASCAR’s 2025 season schedule announcement earlier today, the fourth annual edition of the Pacific Office Automation 147 event is confirmed for Aug. 29-30, 2025, at Portland International Raceway (PIR). The race weekend will be headlined again by the NASCAR Xfinity Series and moves later in the summer from its previous early June slot.
Pacific Office Automation, an office equipment and technology solutions company headquartered in nearby Beaverton, Ore., has served as the title sponsor of the NASCAR Xfinity Series Portland event since its debut in June 2022. The inaugural Pacific Office Automation 147 in 2022 marked the NASCAR Xfinity Series’ first ever visit to PIR and the first trip to the Pacific Northwest by a NASCAR national racing series since 2000. Pacific Office Automation has agreed to a multi-year extension to continue as the title sponsor of this spectacular two-day stock car racing event.
“Everyone at Pacific Office Automation is very proud to be a part of this terrific annual Portland event,” said Christie Wakefield, director of marketing, Pacific Office Automation. “We have loved watching families come out to the track to enjoy the NASCAR action each summer, and we are excited to continue the work of growing the Pacific Office Automation 147 for years to come!”
The Pacific Office Automation 147 has produced exhilarating NASCAR Xfinity Series racing over the past three years. Road course legend A.J. Allmendinger won the debut race in 2022 after coming from the very back of the field to take the lead on lap 72 of 75. In 2023, Cole Custer beat Justin Allgaier to the finish line by just 0.142 seconds, and Supercars champion driver Shane van Gisbergen took the checkered flag earlier this year, a very popular win with passionate Pacific Northwest racing fans.
“Pacific Office Automation has been instrumental in building this new Portland-NASCAR tradition over the past three years, so we are thrilled to extend our partnership as we begin preparations for the 2025 Pacific Office Automation 147,” said Jerry Jensen, vice president and general manager of Green Savoree Portland, LLC, which owns and operates the event held at PIR. “We look forward to bringing the Xfinity Series back to our loyal and dedicated fans in the Pacific Northwest for year four at PIR on our new August dates!”
