Sonoma penalties: Rick Ware Racing has two pit-crew members suspended for loose wheel

NASCAR announced that No. 51 Rick Ware Racing pit-crew members Marquill Osborne and De’Quan Hampton have been suspended from the next two Cup Series races through Indianapolis Motor Speedway on July 27, 2025. Late in Sunday’s Toyota/Save Mart 350 at Sonoma Raceway, Cody Ware lost a right-rear tire on the track with 14 laps remaining.

In the Xfinity Series, the Nos. 21 Richard Childress Racing, 26 Sam Hunt Racing and 44 Alpha Prime Racing were all fined $5,000 for having a lug nut not properly installed at the conclusion of Saturday’s Pit Boss/FoodMaxx 250.
