Reaume Brothers Racing has announced Gian Buffomante will make his NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series debut at Watkins Glen.
The 17-year-old native of Naperville, Illinois will pilot the No. 22 Ford Performance F-150 for Reaume Brothers Racing.
Buffomante will look to add another notch in his young racing career. Getting his start in karting at the age of 11 in series such as SKUSA and USPKS, Buffomante has progressed quickly through the ranks from karts to cars.
“I’m super excited and blessed to be making my NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series debut at Watkins Glen with RBR,” Buffomante said. “It’s been great getting to know the team and seeing their dedication and professionalism firsthand. I can’t wait to learn from them and take the next step in my career.” Buffomante added.
Gian is no stranger to road racing. He started his journey into full-size cars in the Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) SRF3, GT2 and FE2 classes at the age of 14, most recently capturing the 2025 June Sprints Championship in FE2. While focused on his development as a driver, Buffomante has been testing in multiple oval and road racing disciplines while currently competing in his first full time season of TransAm TA2, where he has racked up podium finishes in 2025 and currently sits six in the National Championship standings.
This will be Buffomante’s second time racing at Watkins Glen. “I raced at The Glen for the first time this July in the TransAm TA2 series, scoring another Top 5,” Buffomante said. “It is a very fun and fast track, and I’m looking forward to getting the chance to compete there again soon, in a whole new challenging environment.”
Fans can watch Gian Buffomante in the No. 22 Goodridge truck take on Watkins Glen Friday, August 8th, 2025, at 5:00 PM ET. The race will be broadcast live on FS1.
