Legendary actor Bill Murray has been named the Grand Marshal for the Illinois 300 NASCRA Cup Series race on September 7 at World Wide Technology Raceway.
The Illinois 300 is the second race in the Round of 16 of the playoffs.
Murray’s storied acting credits include Caddyshack, Groundhog Day, and Ghostbusters.
Murray’s band, Bill Murray and His Blood Brothers, will also be performing at the Confluence Music Festival at WWT Raceway throughout the weekend.
