Mike Laughin, who suffered extensive burns to his hands in a savage wreck at the season ending race at Homestead in 1996, is making his much anticipated comeback to the BGN Series. He will make his first post-wreck Busch series start(attempt) at New Hampshire, and will also race in the Busch races at Richmond, Myrtle Beach and Indianapolis Raceway Park this year, with an eye towards running a full season in 1999. While recovering from his injuries, Mike has already won three races in the Sportsman division at Greenville-Pickens Speedway.(WC Scene)(5-8-98)
