Optum partners with Alloy Employer Services to sponsor Josh Williams Hospital Tour

Optum, a leading information and technology-enabled health services business dedicated to helping make the health system work better for everyone, has partnered with Alloy Employer Services to sponsor Josh Williams in the NASCAR Xfinity Series (in the #45 car for Alpha Prime Racing) when he returns to the track at Daytona International Speedway in the Wawa 250 on Friday, August 22.

As part of the partnership, Optum will be the Official Sponsor of the Josh Williams Hospital Tour (JWHT), helping Williams travel to children’s hospitals across the length of the racing season where he hosts in-hospital TV shows, visits with children and their families, and offers kids the opportunity to add their handprint to the paint scheme for the final race of each season. Optum’s involvement in the tour will open up more hospitals and site visits, allowing for more opportunities to bring joy and smiles to families.

In addition to the Daytona race, Optum will serve as primary partner for JWHT’s car during visits to the Charlotte ROVAL, Las Vegas Motor Speedway and Phoenix Raceway.

“We’re thrilled that Optum Health has come on board as an official sponsor of Josh Williams, in partnership with Alloy Employer Services,” said Chris Estey, CMO at Alloy Employer. “This exciting collaboration brings together Optum’s industry-leading commitment to employee well-being and Alloy’s dedication to proactive risk management, fueling Josh’s drive both on the track and in promoting employee health, safety, and wellness at workplaces across America.”

“It’s real important for me to have companies that believe in me, my career, and my dedication to the hospital tour,” Williams said. “Alloy Employer Services has been behind me for years and having Optum join the program is another reminder that what we’re doing matters. This has been a trying time for my family, me and my fans, and the support throughout the garage and my partners has been a bright spot. I’m looking forward to representing Optum at races throughout the year as well as on the Josh Williams Hospital Tour.
