For the second consecutive year, Wawa and Coca-Cola are teaming up with DGM Racing to adorn a pair of Chevrolet Camaros in the Wawa 250 Powered by Coca-Cola at Daytona International Speedway on Friday, August 22nd. Josh Bilicki will pilot the No. 91 Wawa x Coca-Cola Zero Sugar Chevrolet, while his teammate, Natalie Decker, makes her return to racing in the No. 92 Wawa x Sprite Chevrolet. The Daytona race will mark Decker’s first NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS) race since giving birth to her first child in February.

As title sponsors of the NXS race, partnering with DGM Racing and its drivers allows Wawa and Coca-Cola to connect and engage with race fans in a unique way on and off the track. In addition to fully branded cars in the Wawa 250 Powered by Coca-Cola, Josh Bilicki and Natalie Decker have several in-person appearances scheduled throughout the race weekend.

“As a convenience retailer and beloved pit stop for freshly prepared foods, beverages, coffee, fuel and more, Wawa has committed to providing trusted quality products and speedy service since 1964, we are proud to sponsor the Wawa 250 Powered by Coca-Cola and the DGM Racing Team as it’s another way to Fulfill Lives in our community,” said Kevin McGrath, Wawa’s New & Emerging Markets Manager.

This year’s partnership comes full circle with family at its core. Wawa and Coca-Cola Beverages Florida, both family-owned companies, are proud to align with DGM Racing, a family-run team from Lake Wales, Florida. To make the story sweeter, both Bilicki and Decker became first-time parents with their sons born less than two weeks apart earlier this year.

Bilicki, driver of the Wawa x Coca-Cola Zero Sugar Chevy, expressed his excitement for this weekend’s race, “Daytona is always one of our biggest races of the year, and to carry the Wawa and Coca-Cola colors in the Wawa 250 powered by Coca-Cola makes it even more special. I’m excited to fight for a great finish, represent both brands on track, and connect with the incredible fans throughout race week.”

Together, Wawa and DGM Racing have already turned heads while competing at Daytona and have even added to the NXS history book in just three starts:

  • During their first outing, Natalie Decker became the first woman, since Danica Patrick (2013), to lead laps in the NASCAR Xfinity Series and scored the team’s first Top-20 finish of the season.
  • In last year’s Wawa 250 Powered by Coca-Cola, Kyle Weatherman delivered a Top-10 finish piloting the Wawa x Coca-Cola Zero Sugar Chevrolet.

“Coming back just six months after becoming a mom is something I’m really proud of, and couldn’t do without the support of my family, husband Derek, DGM Racing, Wawa, and Coca-Cola Beverages Florida,” Natalie Decker explains. “Racing has always been part of who I am, and now I get to show my son what it means to chase your dreams no matter what stage of life you’re in. Since I was a little girl growing up at the race track, I always knew I wanted to raise my family there, too. This is a full-circle moment for me, and I can’t wait to be behind the wheel of the No. 92 Wawa and Sprite DGM Racing Chevrolet.”
