Dawson Sutton Racing, Tennessee Athletics, and Rackley Roofing team up for historic debut at Bristol Motor Speedway

Dawson Sutton Racing is proud to announce the debut of its University of Tennessee-themed race truck at the legendary Bristol Motor Speedway on Thursday, September 11, 2025. This special collaboration with Tennessee Athletics, Rackley Roofing, and Learfield/Vol Network unites the excitement of NASCAR with the tradition and pride of Vol Nation.

“We are thrilled to join forces with Dawson Sutton Racing and Rackley Roofing for this incredible opportunity to elevate our brand in front of a fresh audience at the iconic Bristol Motor Speedway, one of the most legendary venues in motorsport,” said Alicia Longworth, Deputy Athletics Director and Chief Marketing Officer.

The No. 26 truck will roll onto the high banks of Bristol in unmistakable Tennessee orange and white, carrying the iconic Volunteers branding that has inspired generations. The partnership not only celebrates the passion of UT fans but also underscores Rackley Roofing’s commitment as “The Official Roofer of the Vols” and a proud supporter of both athletics and motorsports.

“This is a dream come true for me,” said Dawson Sutton. “Growing up, I’ve always been a fan of racing and Tennessee football. To bring those two worlds together at Bristol—under the lights, in front of fans who love both—is special. I’m honored to represent UT Athletics, Rackley Roofing, and Vol Nation on such a big stage.”
The Tennessee-themed truck follows in the footsteps of other Volunteer-inspired race cars from both Sterling Marlin and Trevor Bayne that have thrilled fans in recent years, continuing a tradition of connecting Rocky Top spirit with the energy of NASCAR.

The September 11th race at Bristol—already one of the most anticipated events on the NASCAR calendar—now takes on even greater significance as the Vols take center stage on the track at “The Last Great Colosseum.
