Ryan Sieg driving for Haas Factory Team at Phoenix

Ryan Sieg will drive the No. 41 Ford for Haas Factory team in the Xfinity Series finale at Phoenix Raceway, the team announced on Tuesday afternoon.

Sieg will replace Sam Mayer, who is suspended for the championship race after wrecking Jeb Burton following the conclusion of last weekend’s event at Martinsville Speedway.

“Although we are disappointed with the results, Haas Factory Team will not appeal the penalty NASCAR issued to Sam Mayer and the No. 41 team following last weekend’s race at Martinsville Speedway.

“We remain focused on finishing out the season strong at Phoenix Raceway and look forward to contending for a race win with Ryan Sieg at the wheel.”

RSS Racing has an alliance with Haas Factory Team, making it an easy transition for Sieg to pilot the No. 41 car. Kyle Sieg will take over the No. 39 Ford for RSS with a drive to be named on Wednesday for its No. 28 entry.
