Parker Retzlaff not returning to Alpha Prime Racing in 2026

Parker Retzlaff won’t return to Alpha Prime Racing in 2026 to compete in the O’Reilly Auto Parts Series season, he announced on Monday evening.

Retzlaff joined Alpha Prime Racing ahead of the 2025 season and finished 22nd in the championship standings. The No. 4 team had a best finish of second in the return race at Rockingham Speedway, which was the Wisconsin native’s best career finish. He had a pair of top 10s in the final eight races of the season, posting results of eighth at World Wide Technology Raceway at Gateway and seventh at Talladega Superspeedway.

“As I am closing out my third full-time NASCAR Xfinity Series season, I would like to announce that I will not be returning to Alpha Prime Racing in 2026,” Retzlaff said on X. “I can’t thank Tommy Joe Martins, Caesar Bacarella and Team Alpha Prime enough for giving me the opportunities this season and allowing me to continue to chase this dream of mine.”

Retzlaff will announce his 2026 plans at a later date.
