New book about Dale Earnhardt Sr.

What better time than Black Friday to celebrate the Man in Black?

Dale Earnhardt earned his “Intimidator” label by willing his black No. 3 Chevrolet past the competition and into the hearts and minds of NASCAR fans … and way beyond.

Now, you can remind yourself and also show others why so many consider Dale Earnhardt the greatest stock-car racer of all time.

With the 75th anniversary of his birth approaching in April, The Daytona Beach News-Journal is producing a coffee-table book about a champion whose legend has only continued to grow, nearly 25 years after his tragic death: “EARNHARDT! The Intimidator’s life, legacy and enduring popularity after 75 years.”

At 160 pages, the book will provide flag-to-flag coverage of Dale Earnhardt’s long run as NASCAR’s leading man, with tons of classic photos and plenty of stories — old and new.
