Lavar Scott will pilot the No. 45 Chevrolet for Alpha Prime Racing full time in the O’Reilly Auto Parts Series in 2026, the team announced on Monday morning.
Scott made a pair of starts in the series in 2025, placing a best of 19th at World Wide Technology Raceway at Gateway in his second start. He finished 28th in his series debut at Dover Motor Speedway, in a race that was cut short due to inclement weather.
Scott finished runner-up in the ARCA Menards Series championship standings in each of the last two seasons to Andres Perez de Lara (2024) and Brenden Queen (2025). Both of those drivers will be full time in the Craftsman Truck Series in 2026.
