Tickets go on sale tomorrow December 10, for the 2026 NASCAR race weekend at Richmond Raceway presented by Who’s Your Driver, featuring the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series race and NASCAR Cup Series Cook Out 400 both running under the lights in an action-packed weekend of racing.
Next year also marks Richmond Raceway’s 80th anniversary, with the track preparing for an even bigger and better event than ever before. With last year’s NASCAR race weekend providing undeniable excitement and intense competition in front of a sold-out crowd, fans can act fast now to secure their spots for all the excitement to come in 2026.
“Bringing Saturday night racing back to Richmond Raceway had everyone showing up and showing out, igniting an electric atmosphere from the fans in the stands and the drivers on track,” said Lori Waran, President of Richmond Raceway. “We plan to keep that momentum with us as we head into our 80th anniversary and welcome fans back for our most exciting chapter yet.”
The last Cook Out 400 at Richmond Raceway saw Richard Childress Racing driver Austin Dillon get redemption and once again secure the victory in front of a packed house, racing his way into the Cup Series Playoffs. NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series driver Corey Heim also scored big in Richmond this past year, earning his 7th victory of the year, helping him toward his record-breaking season of wins and eventual Championship title.
The 2026 NASCAR Race Weekend at Richmond Raceway presented by Who’s Your Driver will kick off on Friday, Aug. 14, with the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck series drivers battling it out in the penultimate race of the regular season under the lights at 7:30 p.m. Then, drivers in the NASCAR Cup Series take the track on Saturday, Aug. 15, for another action-packed Cook Out 400 at 7:00 p.m.
