The Progress Group sponsoring fall O’Reilly Auto Parts Series race at Talladega

Talladega Superspeedway announced today The Progress Group has been named the race entitlement sponsor for the fall NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series Playoff race at Talladega Superspeedway. The TPG 250 is set to take place in the Round of 8 on Oct. 24, 2026.

“This new partnership with The Progress Group strengthens an already electric playoff weekend and we’re proud to have them be represented at Talladega Superspeedway,” said Brian Crichton, Talladega Superspeedway President. “The Progress Group is an incredibly dynamic, company that shares the same passion for innovation and serving others. This partnership represents the perfect fit as we continue to provide an unforgettable experience for our fans.”

For 53 years, The Progress Group has provided comprehensive industrial manufacturing, engineering, and support services designed to keep critical operations running at full strength. Over 150 companies have been serviced across the Department of War, power generation, manufacturing, and mission-critical operations that rely on trusted technical expertise.

In 2020, The Progress Group launched Progress Defense Corporation, a dedicated division focused on defense-related work. This strengthened the company’s capabilities in high-precision services, controlled data handling, and specialized industrial support with defense-sector requirements.

This year, Progress Defense Corporation continued its strategic growth and expanded operations into Alabama. A new 55,000 square foot warehouse and supply-management facility opened in Alexandria, AL. The new facility and warehouse strengthen the company’s regional presence, enhancing the ability to support large-scale industrial, transportation and defense-related logistics. Expanded storage, streamlined material handling, and improved distribution capabilities are just some of the benefits of expanding into Alabama.

“The Progress Group Inc. is proud to partner with Talladega Superspeedway and collaborate with a future focused team ready to tackle your toughest challenges,” said Stevan Desancic, President of The Progress Group. “Our values of integrity, accountability, and craftsmanship guide every decision and commitment we make. Our vision is commitment to shaping future mission-critical operations through innovation, engineering, excellence and long- term reliability.”
