Jenson Button interested in running Truck Series race at San Diego

2009 Formula 1 World Champion Jenson Button has done it all. He’s reached the pinnacle of F1, become a champion in Super GT, competed at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, raced in the NASCAR Cup Series – he’s even driven a NASCAR stock car at Le Mans.

During the Rolex 24 broadcast on Peacock, he expressed a desire to run something else. Speaking with Marty Snider Steve Letarte, Snider asked if he was really done with professional motorsports.

“Well you just talked about NASCAR going to San Diego,” he said with a smile, drawing laughs. “My local race. now (Button lives in the Los Angeles area). Has anyone got a Truck that wants me to drive?” He later added: “If it’s got a wheel and gearstick, I’m there … So yeah, I would love to do a Truck race if it’s possible.”
