Nick Sanchez moving to AM Racing full time in 2026

Nick Sanchez is set to compete full time in the 2026 O’Reilly Auto Parts Series full time for AM Racing, the team announced on Monday.

“AM Racing is excited to announce the signing of rising phenom Nick Sanchez as the driver of the team’s No. 25 Ford Mustang Dark Horse in the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series,” AM Racing posted on social media.

Sanchez was informed in mid-December that he wouldn’t be returning to Big Machine Racing in 2026 after scoring a victory for the team in his rookie season at EchoPark Speedway. The team opted with upstart Patrick Staropoli.

Throughout the 2025 season, Sanchez tallied seven top-five and 12 top-10 finishes for Big Machine Racing. He is replacing Harrison Burton, who pointed his way into the playoffs with AM Racing, scoring 10 top 10s.
