Black’s Tire sponsoring Ty Dillon at Martinsville

Black’s Tire will serve as the primary sponsor for Kaulig Racing’s No. 10 car driven by Ty Dillon in the NASCAR Cup Series race at Martinsville (Va.) Speedway on March 29.

In its fourth consecutive year, the partnership highlights Black’s Tire’s continued support of motorsports and its ties to the racing community.

“Black’s Tire is proud to continue our longstanding partnership with Ty Dillon and Kaulig Racing for another year at Martinsville,” said Ricky Benton II, President of Black’s Tire.

“Ty’s dedication and competitive spirit align perfectly with our values, and we’re excited to bring our brand to the historic paperclip once again.”

Martinsville Speedway, a historic 0.526-mile short track in Ridgeway, Virginia, is known as NASCAR’s oldest and most iconic short track, often described as paperclip-shaped with tight corners and flat turns that produce intense, action-packed racing. It is the only track to have hosted a NASCAR Cup Series race every year since the series began in 1949.

“I’m thrilled to have Black’s Tire back on the No. 10 car for Martinsville,” said Dillon. “Their support over the past years has been great for Kaulig Racing and me. I love racing at Martinsville, and I know we will put on a great show for them and our fans.”

Black’s Tire Service, a family-owned and operated company, was founded in 1929 by W. Crowell Black as Black’s Service Station in Whiteville, North Carolina, during the Great Depression. In 1981, Ricky Benton Sr. joined the company to help expand operations, and in 1996, he and his wife, Dianne, purchased the business. Their three sons, Ricky Jr. (1996), Ryan (1999), and Jeremy (2004), joined the company, helping drive steady growth under the next generation of leadership.

Today, the fifth generation has joined the business, with Ricky Jr.’s sons—Trey, Cole, and Cody—continuing to build on the family legacy and position the company for future growth. Black’s Tire Service now has over 1,200 team (family) members across its growing network, proudly maintaining its commitment to family values and customer service.

Now in its 97th year, Black’s Tire has expanded to over 62 retail & commercial locations across the Carolinas, making it one of the largest independent tire dealerships in the United States and grown into 15 Wholesale Distribution Centers across North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Georgia, Tennessee, and West Virginia while maintaining a commitment to customer service, employee treatment and community involvement.

Dillon, a native of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, is a veteran stock car driver with more than 15 years of experience. He is a four-time NASCAR race winner, including victories in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series at Atlanta (2012), Kentucky (2013) and Texas (2013), as well as an O’Reilly Auto Parts Series win at Indianapolis Motor Speedway in 2014. Dillon also claimed the 2011 ARCA Racing Series championship and earned Sunoco Rookie of the Year honors in the Truck Series in 2012.
FS1 will broadcast the Martinsville race, with MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio providing radio coverage.
