Talladega Superspeedway announced today that Eladio Carrión was named the Honorary Pace Car Driver for Sunday’s Jack Link’s 500 at Talladega Superspeedway. The Latin GRAMMY®-winning, multi-platinum artist will lead the NASCAR Cup Series field to green.

Born in Kansas City and raised in Puerto Rico, Eladio brings a bicultural perspective that has helped shape his distinctive voice in Latin trap and reggaeton. Known for his sharp lyricism, versatility, and global collaborations, he has built a massive international following, surpassing 5 billion YouTube views and more than 5.1 billion streams across platforms.
His catalog includes standout hits such as “Coco Chanel,” “Kemba Walker,” “Mbappe,” and “Si La Calle Llama” while collaborating with fellow heavyweights such as Bad Bunny, Lil Wayne, Karol G, 50 Cent, Future, J. Balvin, Big Sean, Peso Pluma and others.

The spring race weekend action at Talladega Superspeedway kicks off on Saturday, April 25, with a doubleheader. The ARCA Menards Series will hit the track in the Alabama Manufactured Housing 200 a 12:30 p.m. ET followed by the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series Ag-Pro 300 at 4:00 p.m. ET. On Sunday, April 26, the NASCAR Cup Series stars will duke it out during the Jack Link’s 500 to close out the weekend at 3:00 p.m. ET.
