Travis Pastrana to run Rumble Bee paint scheme at Charlotte Motor Speedway

Travis Pastrana will run a Rumble Bee paint scheme Friday night in Charlotte to help launch the 2027 Ram 1500 Rumble Bee muscle truck lineup.

Ram this week unveiled the all-new high-performance Ram 1500 Rumble Bee. The new muscle truck subsegment ties product to Ram’s NASCAR Truck Series participation, bringing back the spirit of high-attitude, HEMI-powered pickups for performance enthusiasts that need truck utility.

Ram discontinued its original muscle truck, the 500-horsepower Ram SRT10 Viper Truck with an 8.4-liter V-10, more than 20 years ago, leaving a void in the segment. The base Rumble Bee arrives late 2026, with the 392 and SRT versions following in the first half of 2027.

Action sports legend Pastrana will climb behind the wheel of Kaulig Racing’s No. 25 Ram 1500 in Friday’s NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at Charlotte Motor Speedway as part of Ram’s Free Agent Driver Program.

The 41-year-old has made approximately 50 NASCAR appearances over the years, highlighted by an 11th-place finish in his Daytona 500 debut in 2023 and a 10th-place result in the 2013 season opener at Daytona in the NASCAR Nationwide Series (now the Xfinity Series). He also recorded four top-10 finishes during a part-time 2012 and full 2013 campaign in the series.
